My heartiest congratulations to Royal Fables for successfully initiating its Season 7 and showcasing their richly-designed exhibitions in New Delhi.
We are an ancient land where 'time' is often not measured in years but generations and eras. I am happy to note that Royal Fables has, over a short span of time, demonstrated its creative abilities to capture the essence of India's past and present through the life, times and collections of former Royal Families, their extended clans and social networks.
There is no doubt that the efforts of Ms Anshu Khanna, the Patrons and teams of Royal Fables are commendable and praise-worthy. In the years ahead, they will have to cover considerable ground. In my travels across different countries, I see the world of luxury heritage is changing. The benchmarks are shifting and rising higher. This is where Royal Fables will have to shoulder the responsibility to elevate India's luxury heritage offerings. I wish them all success and more power to sustain their creativity.
Like India. Royal Fables faces a future full of new challenges and momentous events; it must delve deeper and wider into the pages of our rich history. It must become meaningfully involved and associated with the living heritage and spirit of globalizing India.
No one should look to evoking the feudal past in today's time and age. What needs invoking is an appreciation of our living heritage. If we do not subscribe to this perspective, we would be losing our identity as Indians and become mere robotic clones of other cultures and civilizations. In my opinion no one in our country would wish that to happen.
Endeavours, like Royal Fables, are injecting more dignity in heritage and, at the same time, enriching our societal fabric by associating and involving like-minded people. It is a fine example of living heritage bestowing a distinct identity to those who cherish its values and principles and celebrate its authenticity every day.
