This book is part of an on-going series of Viveka’s translation project. These translations from various Indian languages into English, will focus on radical, liberal and progressive books in the non-fiction milieu. Works of fiction in Indian languages find their way easily into English translation these days. Unfortunately, this is not the fate of non-fiction. Many seminal and cutting edge non-fiction books written in Indian languages are limited to the regions in which that particular language is spoken.
