NEELESH MISRA is a correspondent with the Associated Press of India, working out of its South Asia bureau in New Delhi. As correspondent with AP and earlier with India Abroad, he has covered some of the biggest stories of the past few years, including India's nuclear trusts, the Kargil war, the Gujarat earthquake and the killings of the royals in Nepal. He is the author of 173 hours in Captivity, an account of the 1999 hijacking of an Indian Airlines plane from Kathmandu to Kandahar.

• End of the Line - The Story of the Killing of the Royals in Nepal
This book takes us to the heart of the events that occurred on the evening of 1 June 2001 at the Narayanhiti Palace in Kathmandu. Relying on access to exclusive information, the author pieces together the jigsaw of sometimes conflicting accounts.

• Once Upon A Timezone
This interesting story describes the charming, whacky romance across two continents involving a call center, visa touts, big dreams and outsourced love.

• India Yatra : Places we Have Never Been, People we will Never Meet
These essays present a picture of the country with remarkable clarity, without getting lost in the maze of its complexity. As India negotiates this critical period of rising awareness and an intensifying struggle for access to the benefits of growth, India Yatra assumes a significance that goes beyond the immediate reality.
