Nadini belongs to a solvent family comprising of her husband, an executive, a 15 year old daughter and a 10 year old son. Inspite of having all the elements of a happy family, Nadini's insolent temperment contributes to create a suffocating and wearied environment.Incidents take their own course - her husband generates a liking for his lady secretary and the teenage daughter falls pregnant - courtesy the private tutor. A sensible and intelligent lady - Samadita, a student of psychology entres the orbit of the family at this turbulent juncture. Incidentally, Nadini develops a serious throat problem and is advised complete voice rest. Nadini, now a compelled soul has no alternative but to make use of her ears to judge and adjust to the surrounding, her expresions gets concise through her writing and eventually a game emerges as a brain child of Samadita wherein each person has to pick up a question in the box on the table and answer to that while other have to be patient listener till he/she completes. This game session helps Nadini slowly realise the unintentional errors committed by her which gave birth to certain losses. Through her deep penitence emerges the tender faculties and her border outlook towards life. Such has been the transormation that her tolerance reaches a towing height through her graceful acceptance of unmarried dauther's motherhood.
